Building the value buyers pay for

Fractional CFO for owner-led industrial companies with $15M–$75M in revenue

About

Most owners of mid-sized industrial companies have the bookkeeping taken care of. That was all that was needed when the business was smaller and simpler. Now there are expensive and complex decisions to make: whether to add a shift, take the large order, buy the equipment, or sell the business.

Fox One Solutions is a veteran-owned fractional CFO firm for industrial companies, most of them founder- or family-owned. Each month, clients get clean financials, a forecast they can plan around, and a CFO who tells them what the numbers mean and what to do next.

FAQ

What is a fractional CFO?
A senior finance leader who works with your company part-time, every month. You get CFO-level judgment on cash, margins, capital and exit without the cost of a full-time executive.

What does Fox One do each month?
Monthly financial statements with variance analysis and plain-English takeaways, a rolling forecast updated for what changed, a review of progress against your goals, and a working session with your CFO on the decisions in front of you.

How much does a fractional CFO cost?
We charge a fixed monthly fee based on the size of your company and the scope we agree on. After an initial call and a look at your recent financials, we propose a monthly scope and fee in writing. No hourly billing and no surprise invoices.

How much of your time do we get?
Enough to run the finance function at the CFO level: a standing monthly working session, a shorter tactical call, and the preparation behind both. Board meetings, lender negotiations and special projects are scoped separately.

Do you replace our bookkeeper or controller?
No. We work on top of them. Your team keeps the books; we make sure the numbers are right, explain what they mean, and use them to guide decisions. If your accounting isn’t ready for CFO work yet, we’ll tell you.

How is Fox One different from a CPA firm?
We don’t do tax or audit work. A CPA tells you what happened last year. We tell you what to do next quarter, and we’ve sat in the CFO seat and on the buyer’s side of the table.

Do you work with PE-backed companies?
Yes. We work with founder- and family-owned industrials and with sponsor-backed platforms and add-ons, including the gap between close and a full-time CFO hire.

Do you work with companies nationwide?
Yes. We work with industrial companies across the United States. Most of the work is done remotely on a standing monthly rhythm, with on-site visits when the engagement calls for it.

What does onboarding look like?
The first month is diagnostic: we review your financials, meet your accounting team and lender, and build the first forecast. By month two you’re on the standing monthly rhythm.

How do we get started?
Request a call. We’ll discuss your goals, review recent financials, and propose a monthly scope and fee.
